For more than three decades, Troy Ragland has built his reputation on one simple principle: tell people the truth, guide them clearly, and help them find the smartest path forward.
With over 32 years of mortgage lending experience and more than 2,800 families served, Troy has helped clients navigate every type of market and nearly every type of loan scenario imaginable — from first-time homebuyers purchasing their very first home to seasoned investors, medical professionals, luxury buyers, and clients financing properties up to $5 million.
Born in New York City, Troy began his professional journey working in New York law firms in the early 1980s, where he gained firsthand exposure to landlord-tenant law, title services, and the legal side of real estate transactions. That early foundation gave him a deeper understanding of the real estate industry long before he officially began originating mortgage loans in 1985.
After relocating to Los Angeles, Troy spent time working in the film industry while continuing his education at California State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Philosophy. During his time there, he was recognized with the Volunteer of the Year Award for his commitment to service and leadership — values that continue to define the way he works with clients today.
Following graduation, Troy returned fully to the mortgage industry, where he has remained ever since, helping individuals and families build wealth through homeownership and strategic lending solutions.
Today, Troy is known not only for his expertise, but for his accessibility, responsiveness, and direct communication style. Clients appreciate that he does not sugarcoat difficult conversations or disappear during critical moments.
